Red Parking Permit Raffle
Staff Council’s annual Red Parking Permit raffle is happening March 19 through May 13, 2024! Purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to win a 2024-2025 TXST Red Restricted Parking Permit. This year we will have FIVE lucky winners. All money raised is used to fund staff scholarships, awards, and initiatives.
Thank you to the Office of the President, Academic Affairs, TXST Global, the Nontenure Line Faculty Committee, and ITAC for sponsoring this year's fundraiser. Because of their generosity, all funds raised will go directly to Staff Council and staff initiatives. We are very grateful for their support!

When will tickets be available for purchase?
You can purchase tickets March 19 - May 13, 2024.

How much do raffle tickets cost?
You can purchase 1 ticket for $5 or 3 for $10.

Can I purchase a ticket for someone else?
Yes! When purchasing the ticket you will be asked for a NetID to include on the ticket, this is where you can list the person you are purchasing the ticket for.

When will I know if I won?
The randomized drawing will take place at the Staff Council meeting on May 14, 2024. Winners will be announced in the meeting, on the website, and in the May minutes. Winners will also be notified through email.

Are faculty eligible to participate?
Yes! All employees eligible for an annual Red Parking Permit are welcome to participate in the raffle.

Is the winner charged taxes on the Red Permit?
Yes, winning a parking permit is a taxable fringe benefit.
